There are plenty of free camping opportunities around Australia. Free camping usually doesn't involve camping inside campgrounds, you are more often on public land or using campsites specially designed for free campers. South West

The South West is a very popular holiday destination for visitors from overseas, other states, and locals.  Commercial & boutique dairies that provide a huge variety of cheeses, milk & flavoured milk. There are also gourmet small goods on farmlets scattered throughout the countryside, specialising in continental delights. You'll also find olive farms that sell fabulous cosmetics made from olive oil, and various varieties of olive oil infused products. There are fruit orchards where a wide variety of fruits are grown, and market gardens with the same wide variety of vegetables and salads. Having some of the cleanest ocean in the World, there is a smorgasbord of fish, shellfish, crustaceans and seaweeds for those that prefer ocean fare. The local produce in the South West is truly a delight to the palate.

Golden Outback

If your after something different, exciting and adventurous, grab your metal detector and see if you can also become part of this living heritage. The Goldfields were built on the hopes and dreams of fortune-seekers who flocked there following the discovery of gold in the 1890s. The Goldfields are unique and diverse, with a history that spans many thousands of years, further back than the gold rushes of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Coral Coast

The World Heritage Area of Shark Bay, the banana plantations of Carnarvon, the pristine Coral Bay area, Ningaloo Reef, the world's biggest rock Mt Augustus and the dolphins of Monkey Mia. Explore the gorges, canyons and creeks of the Cape Range National Park.  Visit the Nambung National Park where you can explore the world renowned Pinnacles Desert, an amazing moon like landscape covering about 404 hectares.

North West

One of the world's last great wildernesses, the North West has an immense and complex landscape that encompasses spectacular gorges, waterfalls and cave systems and pockets of lush rainforest. It's also renowned for some of the best fishing in the world. Much of the North West coast is uninhabited with numerous offshore islands and long stretches of isolated coastline providing a huge variety of habitats that support diverse animal and plant communities such as; huge turtles, predatory fresh and saltwater crocodiles, unique marsupial kangaroos and wallabies, wildflowers, waterlilies, panduanus palms, fan palms and magnificent boab trees.
